Recently, JINGGONG STEEL INTERNATIONAL has successfully finished the construction of Metro Station of Tuas West Extension in Singapore, which is now put into trial operation.

The project includes the steel structure of three stations, EW31, EW32 and EW33, which are parts of East West Expansion of MRT in Singapore. This project executes BS EN standard, surface meets AESS. The roof is gridshell structure connected by casting nodes and flanges. Up to 42 nodes were connected with 168 bolts in high at the same time.

To ensure the quality and onsite construction, trial assembly is adopted in workshop before transportation. Shell structures were hoisted to position in high after ground assembly on site. The application of slipping support frames and bolted connection effectively reduced construction period.
